Benjamín is a partner and co-head of the litigation and arbitration department, a leading partner of the consumer law group, and a member of the insolvency and restructuring and venture capital teams. He specialises in civil and commercial disputes, successfully representing clients from diverse industries before civil, commercial, constitutional, tax, and administrative courts. Also, he has experience in insolvency procedures, and complex negotiations.
He has expertise in arbitration in the construction, infrastructure, and agribusiness industries. He structures, develops, and implements tailored preemptive strategies to comply with consumer protection law and assist clients in consumer’s rights protection litigation. Also, from a venture capital angle, he represents investors and start-ups in dispute resolution matters.
In the academic field, Benjamín is a professor of numerous courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and since 2010, is co-professor of Civil Law at the School of Law of the same university.
